17,000 SF taken up inside a 150,000 SF live plant. Highly sensitive to dust particles.

Business Objective

Expand operations with the addition of 2production lines. The client needed to meetsafety and environmental standards with aseparate fire suppression containment system fortoxic chemicals.

The entire project was conceptual whichincreased project budget by 71.4% with multipledrawing revisions. The project plan became thecharter to keep the project on track.

Notably, there was also a tight deadline to matchthe global marketing team’s deadline for a newproduct release that represented multi-milliondollar revenue for the client. The project wasdelivered within one week of the global deadline.

Meet the International Regulatory Framework for Cosmetics under Supervision and Administrative Regulation (CSAR) entailing a higher standard sterile environment while producing product.

Besides building a 4,200 SF lab, all transitions leading into the plant require cleanrooms for employees to disinfect and decontaminate before entering production floor.

Upgrade office to attract employees after COVID. We did an overhaul of the entire by building interactive and collaborative work spaces plus front lobby, staff changerooms shower facilities.

The Engineer was stationed in the US and did not havea visual of the office space. His design was based ondrawings without site visits. We had to find creative ways to implement his design without compromising his vision.

As the project progressed, the client changed from their multi-vendor approach and awarded the rest of thes cope to MBC because of the quality of our work.

The client had a concept of what they wanted completed, which was to open up space so that their overhead cranes could have increased range. What unique about this project figuring out how disassemble the door with least amount risk during live plant operations (were operational demolition). Incorporating in our solution enables us remove and safely on ground.

The customer was not able to issue change orders.

Upgrade the sanitation system in 7 plants including the installation of explosion proof receptacles to GMP Standards, stainless steel (SS316L) mechanical throughout.

This project required 75% completion during live operations and additional coordination of short term shut downs for the remainder of the time.

There were multiple stakeholders due to the operations within each plant, requiring precise scheduling and communications.

Business Objective

Build a foundation to support four 5-story 15,000 kg silos and tractor trailer pads.

The client had an accelerated schedule for construction due to year-end budgetary spend. A six-week project was therefore delivered in three weeks despite bad weather conditions. The metal plates within the foundation on which the silo base will be welded needed to be precise to ensure structural continuity to support 15,000kg of wheat and sugar.

Airplane repair shop needed general construction services to build out additional conditioned space in the highest temperature part of their plant (mezzanine level) during live plant operations.

In addition, we provided the customer with plumbing repairs inside the main office and general construction to support process changes to enhance work flow.
